Help abandoned stray cat
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Tammy, about ten days ago this little cat turned up in an industrial estate near where I live. Some kind people fed her and made her a safe spot to sleep. On Friday 2nd October I was asked to help her, I contacted the RSPCA who provided me with an incident number and I was able to catch her and get her to a veterinarian. She had an issue with her breathing, the vet gave her antibiotics and checked her over, he said there are other issues that need attention but that can’t happen until her infection is treated.
We also discovered that she is approximately ten years old, has had a hard life on the streets, is not chipped so no owner to contact. I have looked on many pages to see if she is lost but no photos match her.
I took her in as I wanted to help her, she is very frail.
Today I took her back to the vet, her infection has not got any better and we have discovered that she is pregnant. We have paid for blood tests today to check for feline leukaemia etc as the foetuses could be in danger too.
The costs of helping this poor little one are escalating and if we cannot raise funds we will have to let her go to a shelter/rescue.
I really don’t want to do this, I would like to help her and her babies in our home and make her comfortable and loved potentially for the first time in her life. She has already lived on the streets for years and old cats struggle to get adopted. I know that she will be looked after at a rescue but they are pretty inundated at the moment.
Please if you are able to help at all, it would be really amazing and we will be very grateful.
Oh by the way we have called her Professor McGonagall.
Thank you for taking the time to read and if you are unable to donate please can you share instead.
