Help Aaron Salvato go to Seminary

Recently, the Lord has called me to attend Western Seminary and study under Dr. Gerry Breshears in his cohort for a Master's Degree in Applied Biblical Leadership. I am humbled and blessed with this opportunity, and I believe that this is the path that God has set before me to help me become a better pastor, teacher, and follower of Christ!

I attended one semester online (it was fantastic!) and then was asked to take some time off, because a new location would be opening up in Tulsa, OK, in the fall of 2023. During this time, I have been working hard to fund my seminary education through various freelance jobs. However, I have recently encountered some challenges that have made it difficult for me to continue funding my education on my own.

For the last five years, I have tried to imitate the Apostle Paul and fund my ministry efforts through various freelance and full-time jobs. Recently I have been immensely blessed to work as content strategy director for CGN, a nonprofit that serves hundreds of churches worldwide. Despite this wonderful job, I still found myself needing to take on side work to provide for my growing family and meet our goals. To that end, I had a great side client I was working with on a monthly basis that helped cover the cost of Seminary.

However, recently I lost that client due to their business struggling, and on top of that, I have entered the busiest season of life I've had in a long time! I am currently balancing ever-increasing responsibilities at CGN, Seminary, running my podcast ministry, helping raise my son Jack, and starting up the local GoodLion School of Discipleship for young adults here in Yukon, OK. Because I am so busy, I am sensing that taking on more side work would not be the best thing.

I feel the Lord calling me to focus on what is in front of me. I am seeing massive fruit from the ministry at CGN and GoodLion, and I want to keep moving in that direction as much as I am able.

With that in mind, I am humbly reaching out to friends for help. I have zero expectations of anyone besides Jesus, and I am committed to finding a way to pay for it even if I don't receive donations. I am simply putting this out there to see if the Lord compels anyone to help! :)
