HELP A WOMAN REBUILD HER LIFE

Hinda, is 66 year old woman living in Ifo Refugee camp in Kenya. She has been living there for the past 30 years.

In September, Hinda who lives alone was brutally attacked and raped.

I was so angry and saddened when I heard about this, that I knew I had to help.

An attack on a vulnerable woman who has only known hardship and poverty her entire life was not something my conscious could ignore. If not me, then who?

Currently Hinda, is suffering with PTSD from the attack. She no longer feels safe in her home, which is a small dwelling made of mud and grass. She relies on the charity of her neighbours for food and water.

My goal is to raise money to help Hinda rebuild her life.

With the money I raise, I want to build her a better home, one that she can feel safe in.

I spoke to Hinda and she dreams of one day opening a small grocery shop where she can—for the first time in her life— have her own financial income and independence. I admire her courage, bravery and optimism to move forward with her life.

Please help me make this a reality!
