Help a Ukrainian family in crisis

A Ukrainian friend in the plushie community, "Sherlock", needs help surviving a crisis in the middle of the war. Here is a message from them:

 

"We are a Ukrainian family from Kharhiv.

The war has forced us to leave our home.

After 8 days of living under firing of missiles, we decided to flee from the city. Unfortunately we had a car accident when trying to escape and had to stop our journey in central Ukraine.

 

Our car is inoperable (see photo) and we have no means of returning home to Kharkiv. My elderly parents got injured during the accident and are healing from a broken leg and ribs. With these new injuries, we have lost mobility and cannot evacuate further on west. The medical care is limited here and the costs increase rapidly.

 

As we don't have income and need to stay in a town unknown to us, we kindly ask you for your help. The medical expenses already took 200 EUR, the room which we rent costs another 200 EUR per month.

 

We need money for food, rent in this foreign city and medications which are expensive. We would appreciate any donation which would allow us to survive this difficult time."

 

This fundraiser is run by members of the Plushie Help Network on Instagram, and all money collected will go straight to helping "Sherlock", who doesn't know for how long they will rely on our help to get by. Any money left will be used to help other plushies in need.
