Three months ago, a sweet and gentle stray cat named Teddy Bear walked into my home and decided to stay. I learned he's FIV-positive, which means his immune system is weakened (like HIV+ in humans). It was then I decided to care for him and give him as much time in this world as I could.
Unfortunately, after getting him neutered, complications arose that landed him in the hospital for a very expensive operation. He pulled through like a champ, and now he's resting at home.
I love Teddy Bear and I'm grateful to the doctors and staff who cared so well for him, but the hospital bill is a blow to my finances -- and there could be more expenses ahead if more complications arise.
The goal amount of this GoFundMe campaign is only a fraction of the overall bill. I'm not looking to get the full amount, just enough to soften the blow. Thank you for whatever you can give.
