Hello kind hearts and generous souls! My name is Tara, a proud trans woman from the South, embarking on a journey that’s both exciting and intimidating: attending university. Growing up in an environment where being my true self was often met with challenges, I’ve always dreamt of a brighter future through education.
I’ve been accepted into a wonderful university program, a milestone that fills me with hope. However, the financial aspect of this dream is a steep mountain to climb. Tuition fees, books, living expenses, and the additional costs that come with my transition journey, are barriers that seem insurmountable at times. i’ve currently worked with the resources i have by finishing up community college in the south and i’m ready to take the next step and move with my girlfriend in ottawa canada and begin university there but the funds and financial aspect is a big hassle so any little bit helps thank you so much
