Help a single mother get on her feet

Someone I love dearly needs our help. I have done what I can but have found myself at a loss.

Life happens. Relationships end. But if you are poor, queer, black and the mother of two these things can pile up quickly.

After struggling through the end of a long term relationship. And being left to handle rent, bills, and care taking on her own. This mother has finally secured a new job. As often happens this job comes a little too late. Monday she was given notice by her landlord that she and her children would be evicted this Friday if she was unable to pay the two months of back rent she owes. 

Again, life happens. She is not taking any of this lying down. She has reached out to welfare and is finding some help but it’s just not enough. 

Please consider helping if you can. I’ve made this gofund me because I don’t know what else to do. I promised myself that I would stop trying to fix the world on my own. To ask for help when it was needed. So here I am- asking. Please help if you can.
