Help Ron, a Queer Black Artist Thrive

My name is Ron! I’m a 23 year old queer, black artist and streamer (video games).  I am currently on hiatus from college due to Covid where i aspire to be a nail tech. I was employed for the past 3 years at my local grocery store doing customer service, but decided to leave abruptly for the sake of my mental health due to blatant, unfair treatment. Trying to make ends meet with the scraps for hours they gave me, ultimately making 150 a week, sometimes less. At the time i was grateful for it especially considering the lack of jobs bc of Covid. I started noticing a pattern with a certain coworker and the manager/assistant manager that evidently wasn’t going to change anytime soon, so i decided to leave. I currently live with my family who i’m not very close with, but i wholeheartedly appreciate. They’re very religious and i don’t feel as comfortable as i would want to, so i feel it’s time to branch out. Currently unemployed, not eligible for an unemployment check, and not knowing when i’ll get a call back from the places I’ve applied, I would like to raise money to help me with stability, moving out and to further my education with cosmetology while also surrounding myself around the people that i love and who loves me without feeling like i have to hide who i am, while also doing what i love.
