Help a public school educator recover from Ida
Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Georgia, and I'm a public school technology coordinator in the New Orleans area. After being forced to evacuate for Hurricane Ida with my 9-year-old son, Gus, the bills are piling up. I thought we were prepared for this kind of disaster, but we weren't. We rode out the storm and the period we didn't have electricity restored for 10 days in Little Rock, incurring more costs than we expected for two adults, one very picky kid with high-support needs, and three cats (Bully, Mac and Papaya). I moved here 11 years ago, and this is the first time we've ever needed to evacuate.
About us:
Georgia is the technology coordinator at Bricolage Academy. She loves Shel Silverstein and starting cross-stitching patterns she never finishes. Gus is obsessed with ladders and jolly rancher popsicles.
Any amount of mutual aid you can contribute is hugely appreciated! All funds raised will go directly to Georgia.
Thank you,
Georgia, Gus and the cats
