Help a paralyzed veteran buy a new hospital bed

I was paralyzed at 22 while serving as an infantry officer with the 101st Airborne Division in 1980. Thanks to the V.A., many friends, colleagues, and strangers; became an attorney.
Two weeks ago, my 30 year old custom bed broke. The manufacturer long ago went out of business, so consequently parts are nonexistent.
Without the ability to raise the whole bed, transfers with my attendants are difficult, and right now dangerous. Because of this bed, I am able to live alone in my own home.
I’ve found a new bed that is excellent, an Invacare CS7. The best price I can find is $2430.00 w/o shipping.
Any help you can spare (right after Christmas, I realize) would be greatly appreciated!
