Help A Palestinian Student Continue her Studies in Amsterdam

Hey we are Francesca and Flo trying to help our incredible friend Natal stay in Amsterdam and pursue her Masters. A few months ago she received the amazing news that she got a place in her dream masters program (Management, Policy Analysis, and Entr. in Health and Life Sciences) at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU). This news was a dream come true as she wants to keep on studying here to eventually improve the health care system in her home country Palestine. However recently she was informed by the institution that she would not be eligible for any scholarships (due to completing her bachelors in the Netherlands).

Since October of last year she has lost her sponsor due to the political impact on Palestinian finances. In response to this we have decided to try and raise the necessary amount ourselves. Natal is the most ambitious and hard working person in both her academic and social life. Outside of her university community she also actively contributes to philanthropic and justice driven causes like talking at the Make a Kid Happy foundation event and being event manager for the Right2Education organization. In addition she has made Amsterdam her home in the last 3 years and she would be sad to be forced to leave.

We are aiming for 33.000€ because that would cover the full tuition for the two year program. However, any contribution would help as it would relieve some of the burden. If you can’t donate yourself we would be really grateful if you could share this around. Let’s get this girl a masters!
