It is very difficult for me to come to you for help, but after a long and thoughtful deliberation, I know this is my only recourse. If you find it in your heart to help me, with whatever you can, I will be truly grateful. I need to get back on my feet. I was employed as a personal driver but in mid-January, on my way to work on my motorcycle, I was struck by a driver, cutting lanes. After ten operations trying to save my leg, the doctors came to the realization that there was nothing they could do to save my leg, they were already putting the other leg in peril, as well as my back from all the skin grafts. I am now going through rehabilitation, as well as the process of getting the leg ready for a prosthesis. I am the head of my household; I need to work and will find another job to support my family. However, my bike was a total loss, and I need to find and be able to purchase a “transportation vehicle,” to be able to get to interviews and get a job to support my family.
