Help Rock Fight Stage 4 Lung Cancer
Donation protected
In September, dad was admitted to the hospital because he was short of breath. The doctors found a spot on his lungs, and a biopsy was done. After many more tests and scans, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Unfortunately, it has also spread to his lymph nodes and bone. He will start treatments in the coming weeks, and will require him to travel from Calhoun to Owensboro several times a week, which will become expensive. He is still early in his diagnosis, so we are unsure what other financial obstacles will come from this.
Growing up, I remember dad always telling me" If you don't work for it, you don't deserve it" So I know how hard it was for him to set his pride aside and ask for help. He has always been one to help everyone around him, without asking for anything in return. I'm hoping his generosity will be returned while he is in a place of need.
Any donation big or small would be greatly appreciated. These donations will help with travel and accommodation costs, household and medical expenses.
