5-year-old Fighting Cancer

Donation protected
Dear Friends,

We, Shweta and Shiva, first met our cousin, Prabhas, in Kathmandu when he was a few days old. We thought his parents, our Uncle Prajwol and Aunt Laxmi, were the luckiest parents on Earth. Prabhas was this precious little angel with the most beautiful smile and warm brown eyes. Now he is five years old, and nothing much has changed except he has grown into a highly active kid with a great passion for learning, and he absolutely loves Spiderman.
In July we learned that Prahbas was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma Stage IV cancer. This is a cancer that usually begins in the adrenal gland atop the kidney, but it can be found anywhere along the spine. This cancer can be cured with timely treatment. Unfortunately, this treatment is not available in Nepal. Our cousin Prabhas, Aunt Laxmi, and Uncle Prajwol – had to go from Nepal to New Delhi, India for immediate treatment at the Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Center in New Delhi. For four months Prabhas has been undergoing Chemotherapy, Surgery, Autologous Stem Cell Transplant, and Radiotherapy. These processes are expected to last more than a year and cost more than one hundred thousand dollars.
Prabhas has been responding very well to the treatments and doctors remain highly positive about his recovery. The only major obstacle that remains between this amazing kid and his bright future is the cost of his treatment. Since Nepal does not have health insurance system, this has our Uncle and Aunt in intense financial distress.
We humbly request your support in helping our 5-year-old cousin, Prahbas, and his family fight cancer. We would welcome any donation, no matter how small. We also welcome your prayers for Prahbas. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns: [email redacted]

With sincere gratitude, Shiva and Shweta

UPDATE: 11/27/2018

Dear Family & Friends,

Thank you for your prayers, love and support for Prabhas. Unfortunately, with a heavy heart I have to inform you that last night Prabhas lost the battle against cancer and passed away. We are grateful for all your support.

Sincerely,
Shweta, Shiva and Family
