Helmet 4 Harrison
Donation protected
Harrison was diagnosed with Craniosynostosis of the sagittal suture when he was four months old. Craniosynostosis is the premature fusion of an infants skull before birth. This prevents the skull from growing and creating a risk for developmental delays, learning delays, ICP (increased cranial pressure) seizures and mental retardation.
Harrison underwent extensive skull reconstructive surgery June 24th, 2019. He did great during surgery, but his parents later found out that his surgery did not achieve the desired outcome. He now needs a cranial helmet to fix the problems that the surgery did not remedy.
Harrison’s parents were caught off guard when they discovered their medical insurance would not cover the cost of his $4,400 specialized helmet.
In addition to his previous surgeries, Harrison needs an additional surgery to correct his vaulted palette which will prevent further eating, sleeping and speech difficulties.
Your donation will be a blessing to Harrison and his family.
