Dear Friends and Family,
Last summer I had the privilege to go to Guatemala through a program with Wycliffe Bible Translators, a non-profit organization which sends translators to areas where the Bible is not currently translated in their language. I've learned a lot of things while I was there, one of which was the fact that there are still 2,000 languages out there that don't have the Bible translated into their languages. This really convinced me that I could finally make use of my major in linguistics as a Bible translator to spread the Gospel.
Recently I received an internship with Wycliffe to be part of the Solomon Islands team this summer from June 17 till July 31. I would have a chance to teach people how to worship God and share their faith through cultural arts. This is part of the Festival of Pacific Arts, which is in the Solomon Islands this year!
