Helen's Kidney Transplant Fund

Hello, I'm Laizel Luna and I'm organizing this fundraiser for my sister-in-law, Helen Linda Davies.

Helen is just 36 years old. She is a loving wife to Kirk, a wonderful mother to her children, Julia and Jaiden. She's an amazing daughter, sister, aunt, and caring friend to many.

Just recently, Helen began experiencing back pain and swelling in her legs and feet. Her blood works show that her creatinine level is very high.

After a series of laboratory tests, she was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease Stage 5, with 1 kidney already gone and the other with only 15% function left in it.

Her doctors recommended that she undergo a kidney transplant to increase her chances of survival to prolong and have a better quality of life.

Helen and her family are asking for your prayers and donations as Helen is scheduled to undergo dialysis three times a week until she can undergo a kidney transplant.

Right now, Helen is in need of your help! Unfortunately, Helen’s hope for a new life comes at a very high cost. The average kidney transplant in the Philippines costs around 2 million pesos (around $50,000), not including her dialysis and other medical expenses.
