Heidi Hawkes Funeral and Medical Expenses

We are starting this gofundme account in hopes to raise the money to help Ken Hawkes the loving husband of Heidi Hawkes who passed away in the early hours of May 26th.
Through the past decade Heidi’s health has declined. This year she endured a very vigorous surgery she hoped would fix many underlining issues. A week after she was released from the hospital she was readmitted into ICU for two weeks. Once she came home she was able to spend three weeks before she was taken by ambulance to the hospital with pneumonia, kidney damage and many other diagnosis. She spent two weeks in and out of sedation. She was released to a care facility and then after showing much progress, she was released to come home. On Saturday she took a turn for the worst until she was taken out of her pain.
Everyone who knows Ken, knows he is a very humble, loving, and selfless man. But can be strong willed when it comes to asking people to go out of their way to help. We started this in hopes to ease the financial burden the surgery, ICU visits and the funeral expenses have placed on him and so that he knows he’s not alone, very loved, and supported. We appreciate any and all donations no matter how big or small to help Ken through this hard and trying time. Thank you all with much love and appreciation.
