Two days after her mother passed away in 2017, Heidi was diagnosed with stage-three breast cancer. Her treatment consists of chemo therapy, radiation, masectomy, and reconstructive surgery...over the course of one year.
The diagnosis is positively treatable, so we will be blessed with more fun years to spend with Heidi. However, the treatment is taking its toll on her physical and mental well being, and keeps her away from work. This has created a need for an alternate source of funds, as there are hospital bills and normal life expenses to take care of.
Many friends and relatives have helped out as best they can, volunteering transportation, supplying groceries and household items, sending wonderful flowers, etc. We thank all of you, words cannot express how important your contributions are and the positive impact.
Now we are reaching out 6 months later for assistance of the financial sort, as we are starting to feel the pinch of financial responsibility combined with limited income. If you are both willing and able, we thank you in advance for your kind donation. Funds donated via debit/credit or check go directly to Heidi's bills and household living expenses. Once this battle is over, we will be hosting a great thank you event in your honor.
