Heather Holm’s 2nd Brain Surgery

For those of you who know me personally, you know that my Mom had brain surgery in 2016 at the Mayo Clinic of Rochester, MN. The surgery gave my Mom relief for a short period of time, but in recent months we’ve discovered something on an MRI and we had to make a trip to Mayo a 2nd time. Her team of Neurosurgeons suggested another surgery and she was scheduled to have it on September 21st. Unfortunately after arriving she was unable to go through with the surgery in September due to several complications. We returned home, waited around for calls from doctors, and days after being home the doctors wanted us back again. Yesterday we made a 3rd trip to Mayo and she is scheduled for surgery this morning to hopefully get rid of a huge infection and a Granuloma caused from the first surgery. This has been extremely hard on my Mom and recovery the first time around was not easy. By creating this GoFundMe, I am hoping to raise a bit of money for my Mom to help ease the stress of some medical bills, hotel stays, and countless trips back and forth to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
