Emergency Heartworm Fund

Friends, we need your help. More importantly, our shelter animals need your help.   We have acquired 29 heartworm positive dogs. Many of them strays and some as owner surrenders. Heartworm disease is a very painful and expensive procedure that ultimately will save their lives.  This is nothing short of an emergency. It costs approximately $1,000 per dog to treat, and as you know our shelter is non-profit and always struggling to get funding. To save these babies lives we need to raise as much money as possible. Every penny counts. Dogs with heartworms will not be able to be adopted until their treatment is finished.   We have two weeks to raise as much money as possible to fund their treatments.
