Mission Trip to Dominican Republic

When I was 17 years old Danny and Denise Stone where my youth pastors. They lead us on a Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic that changed my life. Danny and Denise are now there full time and are doing amazing things for the children and the people of the Dominican Republic through Restoration Ranch.
I have wanted to go back ever since and was able to go in 2016. I can not even begin to tell you the ways this trip changed my life, gave me immense gratitude for the things God has blessed me with and filled me with a love of this country and these people. God took me across oceans to show me his love for me and give me a deeper desire to help others. It's amazing when you go to give to someone else how it becomes such a blessing to you. I can't wait to go back this July!
Every year Scott and Shelly Clegg from Breakthough Church lead a team to the Dominican Republic. While there we will work with Pastors Danny & Denise Stone at Restoration Ranch.
Restoration Ranch is a place where children without parents or homes can come and live. They will be living in a family enviorment in an apartment with real house parents. They will live as a family. Most of these orphans have no concept of what a family is. Restoration Ranch is out to change that.
Restore a child. Raise up a leader. Reach a nation.
We will also go into the villages with supplies and much needed rice and beans as we share the gospel. We will also work with a number of churches with whatever needs they may have. We will take school supplies to the children in the schools. These children are used to having to share pencils. Along with sharing the gospel and taking supplies, we will work on the Ranch as there are so many things that need to be done.
How can you get involved? First, pray for me, for my team and for the children and people of the Dominican Republic. I believe God is going to touch so many lives! I feel this is the most important aspect of learning from my experience. God can change things by His will as you and I pray.
You can also help by giving financially to the opportunity to help me go and show the love of Jesus. The trip cost will come through gifts from friends, family and fundraisers. Would you consider giving towards this ministry?
