Heartbreaking Loss For Two Cancer Survivors

Recently an amazing teacher and good friend of mine got a chance to rebuild after many years of heartache, but that was all shattered by the Phoenix/talent fire that destroyed so much. Jessica and her husband are both cancer survivors and though they beat the odds - they were still left with a massive amount of medical debt. They attempted to rebuild by selling their family home - but in order to sell it they had to put money into it. They spent every cent they had including making the sacrifice to sell their wedding rings for extra money, and they were almost to the finish line, however the day of the signing their house was destroyed by this terrible fire that swept through our community and with it their hope to rebuild. The reality is that this tragedy puts them at a bigger financial hardship than they had and now are unable to launch their new beginning.

I cannot express how much Jessica has done for her friends during this horrible tragedy and for her community - she has also done so much to help her students and coworkers she is beyond selfless and really needs us to come together and help her and her family now.
