Heart Transplant for Husband, James "Jim" Vamvas
Donation protected
My husband started a new job in July. He was to receive insurance after a probationary period. Jim was fired on Thursday of his first week. He was told "he just wasn't a good fit."
He has worked all his life in corporate mail rooms and the post office. While raising our sons, he worked a second job with a paper route. He never complained and made sure our sons participated in scouts, karate, and every sport there was.
He has been our rock. We have been married almost 30 years. I have depression, and this man has been my best friend and tries to help me every day.
Before Jim was able to find another job, he went into congestive heart failure three times in 2 months. All he could do was to apologize to every person that came in his hospital room because he was ashamed he didn't h and ve insurance for the first time in his 54 years.
After many tests, he was told by both a cardiologist and a cardiac surgeon that his heart was working at 10%. He
would have to have a heart transplant.
We are in a very difficult situation, but God can make "Good things happens to those who love the Lord and try to live according to his purpose." Jim has so much more living to do.
Please do for him what God leads you to. Tell your friends and family about him or if you are a physician that can help us, or donate, we humbly say thank you. I tweeted President, so there are no limits what God can do. Do you work for a radio station? Look what happened for Rush Limbaugh.
Thank you in advance for helping Jim see his new grandson who will be here very soon. I pray God's peace upon you.
Gratefully,
Beverly
