Heart Transplant for Ebube Evulukwu

Dear Worldwide family and friends,


We are reaching out for your assistance for our baby brother, son, nephew, friend and colleague, Ebubechi Evulukwu. Ebube is 31-years old and has undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in chemical engineering. A few months ago, he developed a heart condition called cardiomyopathy. The condition means the muscles in the heart have been severely damaged on both the left and right sides of the heart, therefore the heart is abnormally enlarged. When the heart becomes this severely enlarged, it fails and cannot pump blood around the body as it should. This condition arose out of the blue and his doctors have not been able to determine a specific cause. We have attempted all medically possible solutions to ensure he makes a full recovery but to no avail. The doctors have informed us the only option left now is a heart transplant.

Before they can place him on the heart transplant list in the United States, we need to put $1,000,000 in the hospital's escrow account for the heart transplant and his medical bills.

We will continue to use any and all financial resources at our disposal to address this.

2 Corinthians 8:12 - For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what one does not have.

We also appeal to you to please donate as generously as you can to assist us keep this young man with us before the Lord calls him.


This is a problem that can happen to anyone. Nothing Ebube did caused this problem and the doctors say that this is a case of random "luck". Ebube still has a lot more living to do. He is wonderful younger brother who is a gentle giant and loves to play basketball as he is 6'5. He always sees the good in every situation. He has been very strong through this whole period even strong for his family and friends and always has a smile on his face.

He is the heart of our family and a friend to many who has always put others before himself , therefore life without him would mean we have lost a little bit more love in this world
