Dear Friends, Family, and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

Please help the Uy family recover from a tragic incident that happened on October 4, 2023, around 2 AM. A devastating fire engulfed their home, claiming the lives of 4 beloved household members- Heart, Mark, and 2 fur babies Chewie and Luna.

Heart was not just a loving daughter, niece, and friend, but also a remarkable talent who represented the Philippines in numerous dance competitions locally and overseas, bringing immense pride to our country. So much potential and talent and we lost her at such a dear age of 18.

Mark, Michelle’s best friend, was not only an engineer business partner but also a pillar of support in the family. Self-less, compassionate, smart, and caring-- Mark has been labeled as “bes,”, Kuya, and Tito by everyone around him.

Chewie and Luna are not just dogs. They are part of the family. During the time of the pandemic, Chewie and Luna had been a companion to most of the family in navigating a difficult and uncertain time.

In the wake of this heart-wrenching loss, we are left with the daunting task of not only grieving for four irreplaceable souls but also helping rebuild their lives from the ashes. The financial burden that has fallen upon our sister’s family is overwhelming. They didn’t just lose their loved ones but also lost a home for the remaining living family members.

We are reaching out to you, our extended family, friends, and compassionate strangers, in the hopes that you can lend a helping hand during this dark hour.

* Funeral and burial expenses for Heart Uy, Mark Baban, Chewie and Luna to provide them with the dignified farewell they deserve.

* Repairing and restoring the house and property that have been severely damaged by the fire, allowing our sister’s family to regain some sense of stability.
