Heart lung transplant

Hi everyone this is my story, I am 23 in the process of getting listed at Stanford for a double organ heart and lung transplant. I just had a Hickman placed in at USC Keck in Los Angeles, CA that pumps medications intravenously above into my heart, and it has been a life changing event..  But, I have been trying to adapt to my new life and look at the postive side of it. I will need to travel from my home located in Orange County, CA and stay as an outpatient for a week, to get medical testing at the University of Stanford medical center located in Stanford, CA the testing will be to determine how soon I need the transplant. I was diagnosed when I was 8 years old and my life expectancy was only 8 years according to some of the doctors I saw earlier In life was only to get to age 16, but I have overcome those odds and I am still trying to fight for my life. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
