The stray cats in Zakynthos need your help! Every day hundreds of stray kittens are born and half of them die on the streets. They are poisoned, shot or found abandoned in garbage bins. Stray cats are overpopulated, sick, malnourished and unspayed. Females can give birth to 20 kittens per year. We are a group of volunteers who want to stop the overpopulation of the Zakynthian stray cats and create a healthier condition for them to live in, starting with spaying or neutering them. Besides that we give them anti-flea and deworm treatment, long term antibiotics and a 24 hour stay before we return the cats. Local authorities do not offer any kind of support. That's why our Zakynthos TNR Cat Project relies on your donation. Our Trap Neuter Return program reduces the population of stray cats. We cannot do this project without your help! We need donations to keep our project alive! This gofundme will be a great start to have the proper equipment and cover vet expenses. We keep helping the cats, until every single one is treated, because every cat deserves a good quality of life.
