Arman was having a hard time breathing, he thought nothing about it but the problem seems to be getting worse.
He went to see a local doctor and told him that it has something to do with his heart. He was unable to see a specialist due to lack of money.
Arman and his family did not asked me for help. I simply took the initiative to assist when I heard the problem. Isn't that what loving our neighbor is supposed to be?
I took him to see a heart specialist in Manila. Tests were done and we were told that he has a big hole in his heart and a life saving operation would be needed. The sooner the better.
His operation will be done at the Heart Center for Asia.
Arman told me that his older brother died of a heart complication several years ago. Arman is 35 years old
Augusto showed up at my place last month. He asked if it was possible for me to help him. He said that he needed a hip replacement. He was crying while asking me because he feels ashamed for not being able to help himself. He is a single dad with 4 kids. He used to work as a tour guide but stopped when he found himself unable to walk due to the degeneration of his hip bone.
His operation will be done at the Orthopedic Hospital in Manila.
Both these men and their families have been knocking on doors to get financial assistance but have not done well. The Island of Boracay have been closed for 4 months now and income is very scarce, so I am knocking on your doors for their behalf.
I placed both of them on the same platform so that I can take both in Manila for an operation at the same time.
I would like you to help these men so that they can get a new lease in life and continue to provide for their families.
