Improve employee health & well-being in healthcare

Healthy Hero is aiming to become the UK's leading, employee led health and well-being platform for healthcare staff.

Delivery of healthcare services should not be at the expense of the health and well-being of the very people keeping those services going.

Since we started 2 years ago, we have highlighted some of the most significant challenges faced by healthcare staff everyday, and we have exposed weaknesses in current systems within the industry to tackle this.

Thousands of healthcare staff are quitting the profession each year. This only adds to the pressures faced by those who stay.

We are developing an employee led platform that will get staff engaged in their improving their own health and well-being, and will give employees a voice within their organisations.

Initiatives created by middle managers with no experience on the front line don't work. Yoga classes at 4pm are no good to staff working 12 hour shifts. 'Tick box' initiatives with no input from staff are fruitless.

We can change this, with the development of an employee led platform and the coming together of all healthcare staff.
