Helping Mum Heal
Our tribe is raising money to support our precious Mumma through her journey of healing her cancer.
Mother to a lot of (objectively) wonderful daughters, Mum has not prioritised much time, finances or energy for herself over the years. She has recently been diagnosed with Stage IV Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and is exploring ALL avenues of healing.
She is seeing an Integrative Doctor who has signed her up for some complementary treatments to help enhance the effects of the chemotherapy and support her immune system.
Unfortunately, this comes with a price tag that takes quite a blow to Mum and Dad's finances. They had been hoping to retire in the near future but are now resigned to working until they're 127.5.
As you would understand, the whole experience in itself is quite overwhelming before you even touch on the financial burden. We would love to raise enough money to help our parents rest easy and feel less stressed through this period of healing. We'd love to be able to cover the cost of the chemo, complimentary treatments and supplements and dietary needs for Mum.
Her treatments begin next week and many are upfront payments.
Our parents have supported us financially and emotionally through all the ups and downs a family with 8 daughters can experience. And we want to be able to help this journey be that bit easier on them.
We are also taking ideas on interesting whole foods meal recipes. (Vegan, sugar free, non processed, no soy, no preservatives etc etc etc)
Nobody wants celery juice as much as Mum is pretending to right now. Nobody.
We will be here in every sense of the word for our Mum through this, her Dark Night of the Soul. And we are so thankful to you for helping out too.
