Nancy and her kids need our help! On March 19th, Nancy had emergency surgery after intestinal cancer masses were found, which included a full hysterectomy and part of her intestine removed. Over the next few weeks her body will need to heal from surgery before a PET scan can be done to determine the next steps Nancy will have to take to kick this cancers butt! Chemotherapy/radiation will be discussed more in the next few weeks depending on these results.
This is where we step in. Nancy has been a friend to so many of us through out the years. She is a loving dedicated mother to two children, Mackenzie and Mason. Her whole world revolves around her kids. As a single mother and sole financial provider her being unable to work is a stressful burden for her and her kids.
Nancy has worked as a dental assistant at Willow Creek for 32 years. She was the late Dr. Jack Falvo’s assistant, who was head of the national doctor panel and clinical director of Great Expressions in Michigan. Anyone who knows Nancy knows she is the hardest working employee a company could ever have. Always volunteering to work for someone in need, stay late when asked and always working doubles to provide for her family financially.
Since Nancy is unable to work for the foreseeable future, we need to help raise funds to alliveate the stress of paying her daily bills so she can concentrate on healing. Mortgage payment, utility bills, groceries for herself and kids, insurance, phone and car payments can all add up very quickly, and that’s not including her medical bills that are adding up daily. Earlier this year, Nancy had used almost all of her paid leave off when her mother passed away. Making a donation to help this wonderful woman spend one less moment worrying about money and focusing on her health is extremely appreciated by her family.
