Healing Mission for Jeanne Lemarie' Kennedy

My sister's journey began in March of 2016 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer (ER/PR+). A month later she had a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery, while only 2 months later she found out that the cancer had spread to her spine turning her stage 2 breast cancer into stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. This was very devastating news especially being a mother of 2 young boys. Jeanne and her Oncologist decided to begin treatment, this led to 3 additional surgeries.  Over the last 3 years her treatment has (for the most part) stayed the same, until recently. A week ago she went in for her routine 3 month scan and the results were not at all what she had hoped. She found out the cancer had spread from her bones to her liver...

Over Jeanne's journey she has dedicated herself to researching integrative therapies and has now decided to attend a cutting edge immunotherapy cancer facility in Mexico. She would like to start these treatments as soon as possible and will be flying to Mexico in June. This is the only facility that offers these very specific therapies which could help alter the progression of the disease. These types of therapies are not offered in the US and are therefore not covered by insurance. This will be a large financial burden on Jeanne and her family and to help relieve some of this burden we ask for any monetary help you can offer.

My sister has never been one to ask for help but I feel this is a time to ask friends and family to pull together to support her through this next chapter.
