I am writing on behalf of a very very good friend of mine for over 17+ years. This is her daughter (my niece) Marissa. She was born with a single left ventricle heart known as a 3 chamber heart, she also was born without a spleen &  Heterotaxy syndrome which is a rare birth defect that involves the heart and other organs being on the opposite side then a normal person. She  has had a rough life due to her health since she entered the world with many Surgeries, doctors visits , etc....Today she was rushed to the hospital because she wasn't feeling well and coughing up chunks of blood. She now has another hurdle to jump. She has  Fenistration which is causing her to cough up blood,  the heart and lungs has blockage and leaking on the left side, and collateral blockage. She needs a lot of surgeries coming up. Today she was Transported via helicopter life flight to chop hospital in Philadelphia where she will be undergoing surgery this week and at the end of the month. This was very hard on her family. They normally would stay at the Ronald McDonald house but they are all booked. This was very unexpected and her family needs help with food and lodging and other expenses that may occur. Please if you can , help her and her family as we are unsure how long she'll be in the hospital. On behalf of her family we would thank you for your help, love , support and prayers.
