Healing at home after tragic loss

We are setting up a GoFundMe page for our friend and colleague Michael Wanta. Mike is an Able Seaman (AB). He works on ships as part of the Deck crew. These are the guys that work really hard to keep the ship in great condition.
Mike is also a husband and father. He spends the majority of his time at sea to provide the best life he can for his family. He sacrifices his time with them to provide for them. He misses special and important occasions with his family while at sea, as do all seamen.
Mike is a kind and helpful person that always has a smile for everyone and he is always willing to help – no job is too big and he is never too tired to lend a helping hand. He is a wonderful friend and colleague.
The reason we are trying to raise funds for Mike is because a couple of days ago, while Mike was at work, his precious 13 year old son became unwell and was admitted to ICU. A few days later he sadly died. Mike is heading home to be with his family and as a crew we want to try and help him in some small way. We know nothing can ease the pain him and his family are feeling but we are hoping to try and ease his financial burdens. We want to raise enough to cover the ICU fees, funeral costs and have enough to try and keep him at home for a time to heal with his family. You see, like many people out here, Mike only gets paid when he is offshore and so being at home to grieve is going to have financial implications.
As Mike and his family are from the Philippines (an unsupported country for GoFundMe) we cannot send the money straight to him through this page. It needs to go to someone in a supported country and then personally transferred to him. I am one of his colleagues and I am from France (a supported country). I will transfer the money to him from my account and provide proof that this has gone to Mike and his family.
