Heal Tyrell 2020

Many of you may know that my brother Tyrell has Chron's Disease or Ulcerative Colitis. Those words don't mean much without some context, so I will explain the impact of this chronic condition... Imagine constantly being in pain from internal bleeding. There are holes in his intestines that leak blood into his bowels threatening his life, weakening his immune system, limiting his control over bodily functions that we take for granted, robbing him of sleep, making it hard to maintain a healthy weight, and generally depressing and degrading his health and day to day life. He has been in and out of hospitals more times than I can count from the time that he was 11 years old. He has tried so many medications that I don't think he can even remember the names of them all. I have watched him fight his way back from death's doorstep multiple times... Waited with baited breath hoping to the high heavens that he will be ok. When he is well enough to go into the world, all of you that know him already know that he is possibly the kindest and most accepting human being on this green earth. He is a friend, a mentor, a brother, a phenomenal actor, and he has endless determination to meet his goals. He puts aside his unending pain and focuses on those around him. He teaches others to love and accept themselves because it is a constant struggle for him to love and accept himself, and his health situation. He has extensively researched and found a specialist that he believes will be able to help him and potentially make a lasting impact on his health and happiness. He would never ask anybody for anything, but I am asking you for him. Please, if Tyrell Clement has touched your life, and brought joy to you, made you feel loved in your darkest hour, been a friend to you when nobody else was there, please help him on this journey. Even if it is only a couple of dollars, maybe it can help to make him whole, or at least provide some comfort to someone who invests so much in the happiness of others. The medical bills just keep stacking up, but we believe that he can be healed.
