Heal Shelby's Eye - Devastating Paintball Attack

Let's join together as a community and help Shelby heal from this vicious and unprovoked assault that has caused extensive and possibly life-altering complications to her eye.
Shelby and her partner, Ryan, were walking on Friday night to the Village of East Davenport when they were suddenly attacked with paintball guns by individuals in an SUV. Shelby unfortunately was hit in the eye and is currently seeking treatment at the University of Iowa Hospital. Shelby will be monitored closely in the coming weeks by her skilled team of ophthalmologists at U of I Hospitals.
According to a 2015 report from CBS news, "the research showed that the cost to treat eye injuries at hospitals rose 62 percent from 2002 and 2011 and now costs an average of over $20,000 per injury."
