DISCLAIMER: Everything donated here will go DIRECTLY to HEAL Haiti to provide resources and materials for our trip, specifically medical supplies and prescription drugs for the patients.

Excitably for the second year I'll be traveling back down to St Marc with HEAL Haiti.
HEAL Haiti provides an annual fully operative Health Fair to the town of St Marc, where for many of the residents this is the ONE time a year they have access to healthcare. There are a multitude of medical professionals on site ranging from doctors, nurses, gynos, cardiologist, pediatricians and many specialist in between that fly in from the US and provide a full suite of check-ups to the town's residents.
Although I am not a medical professional I was able to contribute by distributing treatments/meds in the pharmacy and can not even begin to count the amount of conditions that were cured on the spot. Ailments that people had been living with for incomprehensible amounts of time were addressed by a doctor and then patients were provided with prescriptions and medications in the moment.
Last year when we arrived at 6AM (before sunrise) there was already a line of hundreds of men, women and children waiting to be seen. We opened up our Health Fair bright and early and didn't leave until the last person was seen and given treatment.
When all was said and done we provided medical services and education to just about 1000 people - 633 adults, 267 children and 94 women saw the gynecologist!
While I was really proud of the money we raised last year - I also saw the effects of not having enough and towards the end of the day we ran out of some of the most basic medications (digestive care, STI care, etc).
These donations from you all are the difference between someone getting the meds they needed to cure easily treatable conditions that they wouldn’t have had access to otherwise.
