Headstone for Ben

On November 3, 2019 Beloved Son, Brother and friend, Ben Allan McKee passed away unexpectedly in his hotel room.

Ben McKee was one of the hardest-working and selfless people I have ever known. He lived alone with his Mother, whom he loved and cared for. He loved going to music concerts and having random adventures with his many friends & family. Anyone who met him adored him as he made friends effortlessly and authentically. The stuff that mattered most to Ben was his family and friends, and looking out for those who couldn’t always look out for themselves; a hero to many in so many ways.

With Ben passing unexpectedly a few weeks before his 44th birthday, he had no written will or end-of-life planning in place. Funeral arrangements & cremation services were made and paid for by family.

As we now prepare to lay Ben to rest in his final resting place, we are looking to those friends and family that Ben knew and loved to help shoulder part of the cost of his headstone. I know this last year has been a long one for both of Ben’s parents and I am hoping we can all help relieve some of this particular financial burden from their shoulders.

All received funds will go directly to Blackburn Chapel for the cost and placement of Ben‘s  headstone and foundation in North Branch, MI.
