Hit by Drunk Driver

Some of you already know. Kim Valois and Jimmy Dickerson from Pacific Locksmiths were in a head on collision Saturday 10-24-2020. At 8:34 at night. They were coming back from Bakersfield back to Morro Bay. It happened at Cholame Y intersection. We know this is a really dangerous intersection to begin with. This is when they were hit by a DRUNK DRIVER head on.
Jimmy was going about 65 when they collided. Totalling both vehicles. Lucky Life 360 ( an app on all the phones) called to tell us Kim could have been in an accident. I asked where. When he told me. I said send everything. The phone have spotty service there. We are so appreciative
For all the bystanders that stop to render aid. We know one was an off duty paramedic. We think one might have been an off duty police officer. They stayed around until help came. Since it was about 50 miles away from ER. So it took a long time to come out. The fire department had to use equipment to open the doors to free Kim and Jimmy from the Jeep.
Finally making it to the ambulance. After stabilizing Kim, she was transferred to Sierra Vista. We know she has a broken sternum, shattered tibia, broken fibula, small brain bleed and a very large hematoma on the left side of the chest. The surgery cant take place until she is stable enough to go under. Jimmy will need reconstructive surgery on his leg . As for the DRUNK DRIVER he was ARRESTED before taken by ambulance for major injuries. It hard to rationalize life can be taking in a heartbeat. Especially during these times when most cant even visit their loved ones. We are very very grateful they are still alive. They will be out of work for a while. With major medical bills and multiple surgeries to come, We don't know if the DRUNK DRIVE was even insuranced. Any amount donated will be greatly appreciated. We know times are tuff right now. All donation will be going to relieve the financial burden that has been unfortunately bestowed upon Kim and Jimmy.
