Three years ago Gavin was sent home to die.
Shortly after his first birthday he developed intractable seizures, lost his ability to speak, smile and swallow and eventually stopped responding completely. He has had extensive workup at multiple Children's hospitals across the country with no answers. His MRI showed that his brain is being destroyed and replaced with fluid. His last MRI just 2 months ago showed that some of his brain structures are gone. Many of you know that this condition is what took Alfie Evan's life.
