Help Us Get a New Roof

On November 1, 2014 at 3:00 am we experienced our own strange disaster. The sweet gum tree from next door decided to take a chance and hop the fence and lean our home.
Unfortunately, the tree was not very nice to our new (3 year old roof and water heater. ) Insurance covered the claim for $1,324 but the deductible was high ($1900). In the state of Georgia my neighbor is not responsible for the tree because it was a live tree and it was an "act of GOD" that made the tree fall.
I am asking friends and family to help me get the roof repaired by helping me recover my deductible.
We, my children and I, bought the house on Septmber 29. With this happening in our first thirty days of being in the house, I am overwhelmed.
It is our first home and we are grateful that we have a safe dwelling, but as you can see as the cold weather approaches, the holes need to be patched and the water heater flue replaced.
