Hazel Has a Life Threatening Cond.

Beloved Hazel is only 5 years old and my little babe. She was acting kind of strange the last couple weeks, so I brought her to the vet. After thousands of dollars in testing and biopsies for hepatitis and cancer, it turns out she needs a bile duct obstruction stent. I thought it was going to a $3,000 surgery, and it turns out to be closer to $7,000 if there are no complications. She already has liver enzymes levels that are between 19 times and 27 times what is considered to be high levels, meaning pretty severe toxicity issues and liver damage that if continued for any longer will create irreversable damage and eventually death. The specialists at VCA West LA or any of the surrounding hospitals do not offer payment plans or assistance.
