At 14 years old Halie lost her mum to breast cancer then at 20 was diagnosed herself. Halie was the youngest girl in Australia to go through the devastating fight for her life and to have a double mastectomy. After a year of treatment & reconstruction surgery she was approached by A Current Affair & New Idea for being the youngest breast cancer survivor  to tell her story to give other young women forewarning & hope...
While Halie has lived her life courageously to its fullest, remembering how special each & every day is. She has been blessed with two beautiful boys and now lives on the Sunshine Coast with her them & her partner.
Halie had always worked really hard and has been in the disability field for the past 15 years, always helping others.  She has also just recently finished her nursing studies in Aged Care. 

Halie loved to keep active, jogging 10klms daily pushing the pram with the two boys. She also loved to play tennis with friends.

Now, everything has had to STOP, her world has come crashing down around her as she has once again been diagnosed with cancer.
She has Stage 4, Ovarian, Chest, Liver & Heart...
Her treatment will be starting next week in Kawana Hospital but financially Halie, Mark, Lachie & Cody need help with everyday living expenses as her journey is going to be long, hard and devastating...
