Support for Liam & Hayley

Hi everyone

So I am sure a lot of you are aware of the situation with Hayley at the moment, but for those who don’t know,

Liam, Hayley and the family were in Finland last week to attend their son’s wedding. They all had an amazing day but then disaster struck on Tuesday 20th Feb, the evening of Jake’s wedding.

Hayley was getting into a taxi in Helsinki, when the taxi driver for some reason drove off whilst Hayley was getting into the taxi, resulting in her being ran over by the taxi, crushed into a bollard and the driver then proceeded to reverse over her whilst she was under the car.

Luckily, a passerby was extremely quick and jumped into action, applying his belt as a tourniquet around her leg to stop the bleeding, resulting in saving her life.

Hayley was rushed into intensive care at Helsinki hospital, which she remains at the moment and for the foreseeable, now currently in the trauma unit. She has undergone multiple surgeries in the past week and has multiple more required before she is even able to be transferred back to a hospital in the UK. Her injuries are extremely severe, but thankfully she is alive.

Liam is staying with Hayley in Finland until she is well enough to return back to the UK.

Whilst they are over there, they still have bills to pay at home, and unfortunately with both being out of work we are hoping to help as much as possible to make life as easy as we can so they are able to focus on Hayley getting better without the added stress of worrying about things back home.

I have set up this go fund me in the hope we can raise as much money as we can to hopefully just make it a little bit easier for them all.

The family are extremely overwhelmed by the help and support they have received so far, so any help at all will be hugely appreciated
