Hawick reivers

Hawick Reivers Festival organisers aim to help visitors and townsfolk alike Experience, Explore day to day life in the mid sixteenth century. A time when the Borderlands were an area of constant feuding – when loyalties were to kinship rather than king and country and when “Reiving” was a means of survival. The festival holds many events during the last weekend late march. Events include story telling by local primary schools, ghost walks, reincampment village, local trade market and reivers banquet. 2020s festival will be held from friday 26th march untill Sunday 28th march We have been asked many times if there is a way to donate to the festival running costs. With this in mind we have set up this Go Fund Me Page which allows those wishing to donate to make thier donation online.
