Hawbaker Ave Christmas Party

I grew up on Hawbaker Ave, a low income housing project in Waynesboro, Pa.  I have 6 sisters and a brother.  Believe me we were as poor as it gets.
Each Christmas local churches use to take us to their church and give us Christmas gifts.  Without them many of us would not receive anything for Christmas, a very sad time for those who went without.

I now want to give back to my community and friends that lived, and those who are currently living on Hawbaker Ave.  

Milan Parker, Kim Coscarelli, Heidi Aughinbaugh Bowers, and myself, David Snively Sr have organized a 1st annual Christmas party for those still in need.
Please help me, us help those who need a helping hand at this special time of year.  
You have no idea how much these children will appreciate your help..... I was there for many years and I know 1st hand.  

My idea is to get bookbags for each child and put school items, toys, a small gift card, candy, etc in each bag.
Also the parents can enjoy a day away with Santa, elves, food, and enjoy a Christmas party. Just vision the smiles on their childrens face.  

Any amount no matter how small wil be appreciated.
Any additional funds will be use for a 2nd Annual Christmas Party
