Hawaii’s Kyla Abad 2019 MLB PHR National Finalists

Kyla Abad is an 8 year old girl driven by determination. Her LOVE for softball along with her hard work and dedication has brought her a very long way. Kyla entered her local MLB Pitch, Hit, and Run competition here in Hawai'i and took 1st place! This landed her a spot to compete in Los Angeles sectional competition where she also took 1st place in her age group! Yesterday on the MLB Network it was announced that Kyla's score was high enough in which she was 1 of just 3 finalist in the NATION! Now her journey to Cleveland, Ohio will being so that she can compete to see who will take the national title! The MLB is helping Kyla and one adult get there, but we need your support to bring our ohana (family) together in this once in a lifetime adventure! We will be flying out of Hawai'i on Friday July 5th where Kyla will make her final push in competing for the national title! Any donation will be greatly appreciated, we hope to have Kyla's entire ohana there to cheer her on!
