This week, tragedy struck our community, when a child was hit by a car and succumbed to their injuries at a Minnow Lake Co-op. The family shares with deep sadness that this tragic and sudden loss, was that of beautiful 6-year-old Havyn Winter.

Havyn was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. She loved life with her whole heart and brought happiness everywhere she went. She was best friends with her mom and her brother, Harlynd, and the bond they shared was filled with love, laughter, and endless memories.

Havyn loved to sing and dance, and her smile could light up any room. She adored K-pop, Monster High, and spending time talking to Alexa about life and the world around her. She was curious, funny, caring, and always full of joy. Even at such a young age, Havyn had a way of making people feel loved and understood.

As the family faces this unimaginable tragedy and overwhelming grief, we are coming together to help support them during this painful time. No parent should have to carry the weight of financial stress while mourning the loss of their child.
