IVF after Cancer
Donation protected
My partner and I are unable to conceive naturally as he had testicular cancer in his early 20s.
Before he underwent chemotherapy he had sperm frozen – and this is now our only chance to have a baby.
When we started our IVF journey, I had no idea about all of the procedures, the medications, the pain, and the time involved in the process. It will all be worth it however if we can have a child together.
So far, we have spent £15,000 to have our first two rounds of treatment. The first one failed, the second miscarried. We desperately want to keep trying, but we have reached the end of our savings.
We found it difficult to take the decision to go ahead with crowdfunding for treatment but have no other alternatives.
We will be so grateful of any donations as each gets us closer to a chance to start our family.
